Hemp is a wonder fabric when it comes to cloth diapers. Hemp is 25% more absorbent than cotton alone - and it is grown without pesticides, chemical fertilizers or other harsh chemicals. Best of all, it is actually good for the soil it grows in. Don't worry, while hemp comes from a similar plant to a more familiar herbal, uh, medicine, this plant does not have any of the substances that make the other plant so popular. While some people have reported issues with their hemp cloth diaper products developing odors or becoming crunchy, we have found that these problems are most often due to not getting the diapers clean enough.

Hemp inserts are our life-saver product. We use them as doublers to get our 2 year old through the night in a dry bed. Use one or more as needed. They offer a lot of extra absorbency without a lot of bulk.

FuzziBunz Hemp Diaper Inserts Use and Care:

Hemp products need to be prewashed to remove the natural oils and make them absorbent. Prewash separately from synthetic diapers such as pockets. After prewashing, your hemp cloth diaper inserts can be washed along with your other diapers. Oxiclean and similar detergents can break down hemp fibers and cause premature wear and tear.

Choose the small size for small pocket diapers. Use the large size for medium/large pocket diapers.

Initially, insert needs to be washed 4-5 times separately to activate natural hemp absorption qualities.
